This drawing is an exploration of my ancestry and the characteristics I share with my relatives. I used Adobe Photoshop to combine images of myself, my brother, my parents, and my grandparents. I then drew the charcoal portrait using the compiled image as a reference. I layered printed out images of family immigration documents, draft cards, school pictures, and other memorabilia on top.
